FESTIVAL SCREENINGS AND AWARDS

ZombieDance: FLESH ORGY OF THE ZOMBIE TOTEM had its World Premiere at the 4th Annual ZombieDance Film Festival in Austin, Texas, on March 9, 2002. The film received a coveted Golden Zombie Award.

MicroCineFest: Nov. 2002. Acclaimed Baltimore festival: film festival authority Chris Gore (editor of Film Threat and author of The Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide) describes MicroCineFest as “one of the ten best underground film festivals.”

California Institute of Abnormal Art: FLESH ORGY OF THE ZOMBIE TOTEM played here as a selection of Anxiety Films' Mini-Shock Festival, April 2003.

Bearded Child Film Festival (Minnesota): FLESH ORGY OF THE ZOMBIE TOTEM won the "BC Spirit Award" at this festival (August 2003). The award is given for "the film that best represents the vanguard, guerilla-style filmmaking the Bearded Child festival is all about." BC officials called it "a great film."

Melbourne Independent Film Festival (Florida): September 2003. Festival organizers called it one of their favorite films of the festival: "Everybody's talking about Flesh Orgy of the Zombie Totem!"

Bearded Child Film Festival (Colorado): FLESH ORGY OF THE ZOMBIE TOTEM played in September 2003 at the University of Colorado's showing of the Bearded Child Film Festival. As described above, the film was winner of the "BC Spirit Award."

Brooklyn Underground Film Festival: October 2003. Officials of the acclaimed fest called it a "truly bizarre, unique piece of cinema…under-underground filmmaking."

Denver Underground Film Festival: December 2003; fest officials say it is "The most sought-after film showcase for independent filmmakers from Colorado and beyond in the Mountain States."

Fort Lauderdale Underground Film Festival: December 2003. "Everyone loved" the film, said a festival judge. "It caused quite a stir!" Award winner.

Ripon College Cinemaniacs Festival: FLESH ORGY OF THE ZOMBIE TOTEM was nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Actor awards, April 2004.

Asheville Rejects Film Festival (NC): Trash film king Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Films was guest of honor at this in-your-face international celebration of alternative films, November 2007.

Deep Fried Film Festival (Coatbridge, Scotland): First showing abroad. A great line-up of weird and brilliant films from around the globe. August 2008

Arkansas Underground Film Festival: FLESH ORGY OF THE ZOMBIE TOTEM played alongside works by Andy Warhol, Luis Bunuel, Salvador Dali, George Kuchar, and many other giants of underground/avant-garde film! Incredible program. July 2009.

Lowest-Budget Film Festival (Ohio): Accepted. Festival date to be announced.
